Artist's Notes: Skeli! You's been glomp'd! If I recall correctly, your prompt was the only one in the whole bunch that requested whump and character death! I also added in powerful!Merlin, and convinced myself that in his grief Merlin tears a hole in time and space! LOL!
So this piece breaks away from my norm of line art -> colour, as I tried to completely paint it.

The inspiration for this piece is the song "Tornado '87" which happens to be about a tornado that devastated my home city.

I love the colours you chose here, and the way the storm sort of rages up from Merlin but the lines feed back into Arthur's face - makes it seem like the rage, sorrow is an endless cycle. Really evocative.

I'm glad it worked! I was actually frustrated because I drew this awesome funnel cloud, but then the pose ended up blocking the funnel part!
