 Here is another Wicked based Merlin comic. This little idea was hatched back on 28Aug. It takes the lyrics from Defying Gravity and edits it down to a manageable scene.

My shazzy Camelot was re-hashed from The Bear Trap Yeah, yeah... when it comes to drawing out comics, I tend to take short cuts.... ow, my shame!

On a separate note, I feel that the 5th panel "Well?" Merlin is quite possibly the most believable Merlin I've drawn yet. I like how all the hands turned out especially Merlin's in panel 4, the handshake turned out good, and populating the square was a friggin' pain.

This is great!!!!! The character designs are terrific and the lyrics make it really interesting--and I'm not even familiar with Wicked, lol.

To tell you the truth, I'm not even familiar with it myself. But I used to have this roommate that would play the soundtrack on 'repeat' all friggin' day, and it it finally stuck in my head, LOL!

LOL be glad you aren't rooming with me. I'd get you stuck with either Disney soundtracks or "Shadow of Uther"...I recently found it from the band Kamelot, and am loving it. (it's in my art at the board) I hope to get inspired by "Once and Future King" too...it's another of their songs.

AHAHAH I started singing at the first panel. But since I know this song from Glee instead of Wicked, I didn't continue singing afterward X-D

I love how you work the song in with the comic. Now I want to watch Merlin the Musical *_* A curse that makes the Merlin cast burst into song instead of talking >=D
