April Fool's Day
Apr. 1st, 2012 08:42 pmI never partake in April Fool's Day, but I do love some of the schemes that are hatched.
This year had some doozys! Some of my favourites:
WestJet said they'd put children in the cargo, so passengers can enjoy their flight in peace.
Google Maps released a version for the Nintendo Entertainment System. But inthe meantime, you can try the online demo by clicking "quest" - Be sure to check out Street View.
Cats take over deviantART - I liked this one because it affected one's gallery at random. Pretty clever.
ThinkGeek has loads of new merch, including Game of Thrones perfume, Marshmallow "Creeps" just in time for Easter, and a Star Wars Admiral Ackbar singing bass.
I've fallen out with Blizzard long ago, but they always DID have the best April Fools stuff. This year, they're aiming for a much MUCH younger demographic. I'm personally excited over The Westfall Trail, lol
And Google really went all out this year with Chrome Multitask (two mice!) , Gmail Tap (bringing back morse code) and Google Fiber (the bar, not the optik)
What were your faves?
