The Oh Canada Comment Fest asks us "WHAT IF YOUR FANDOM WAS SET IN CANADA?"

So I drew Arthur and Merlin as Snowbird pilots! I kid you not, as a young'un, I built four model C-114 Tutors, so this was like a trip down memory lane.





As you can see, Arthur is the pilot of Snowbird #9 (the lead solo), and Merlin is Snowbird #8 (the opposing solo)

Together, they execute beauty moves like this:

And I just love the banter here... "that's what we call turb'lence" "there go the solos!" "you crazy man!"

The drawing is great. I love them being all side eyed and tight lipped at one another and they both look fantastic in their uniforms. The planes look like you could barely get a piece of paper between them. Exciting stuff!

When the solos perform their head on passes like what I drew, they're only about 10 meters apart, so yeah they get pretty close. Whey they fly in formation, they get as close as 4 feet!!! TALENT!
